From Kalasin travel to Somdet and turn right on road 2042 and travel about 20 kilomters to road 2101.
 About 8k on your left you will see a sign directing you to Phu Faek Park and dinosaur footprint.
After your visit to the park continue toward Nakhu to past kilometer 19 and turn right at the wat for about a kilometer or so watching to your left you will see the place where stone carving takes place.
The artists are quite skilled and will undertake special requests for statues.

Continue through Nakhu town for a few kilometers and on your right you will see a dirt runway that was used during World War II by the Thai Liberation Movement, whose mission was to maintain national sovereignty from the Japanese.
