From Kalasin travel north on road 227 to Sahatsakhan. This Amphor is the location of various cultural, historical and artistic sites.

You certainly won't miss the signs for "Isaan Jurassic Park". The Buddha statue at the top of the hill can be accessed by turning left at the "T" junction the right just past the hill.

If you turn right at the junction after a few kilometers you will see the sign for the "silk Weaving Village (Sing Sa-At). Some beautiful material is available as well as the chance to see it being woven.

Further North along the road you'll see the signs to Wat Buddha Nimit Phu Khao where you' find a beautiful wooden shrine room, and associated wat.
